Export Credit Norway Q3 2018
Export Credit Norway experienced a stable inflow of applications in the third quarter of the year, driven by ongoing positive growth in the industry and renewable energy sectors and increased interest in ships and ship equipment.
Airthings, the winner of the Export Award 2018, is a world leader in the field of radon detection, and exports some 95% of its production output.
New renewables report
Following several years of strong growth, Norwegian exports of renewable energy-related technology and services levelled off in 2017. State-owned Export Credit Norway is now pushing for clearer targets and strategies to help Norwegian renewables exporters to capitalise on gigantic international growth opportunities.
Export Credit Norway recorded a further strong increase in applications received from both offshore and onshore industry players and SMBs in the second quarter of the year. The application figures confirm that the company’s new ship solution has been well-received by shipping companies and shipyards.
