Finance and Accounting Export Credits Norway’s Finance Department is responsible for the company's overall financial performance and reporting to management, the board and owner. It has a broad range of responsibilities, ranging from input to the national budget to public procurement regulations. Within the traditional financial functions, the department is responsible for the design of the annual budget, accounting, financial reporting and analysis. The department is responsible for the input to the national budget and reporting to the national accounts. The department continually monitors the company’s portfolio and applications to ensure good data quality through the preparation of monthly reports. In collaboration with the Communications Department the Finance Department is responsible for Export Credit Norway’s quarterly and annual reports and for conducting annual customer surveys. At the strategic level, the department is responsible for performance management, operational risk management, annual risk assessments related to operations and lending scheme, as well as compliance with the public procurement rules.
