Export Credit Norway’s marketing departments play a key role with respect to the company’s existing and potential customers. The departments are in charge of the company’s external marketing, customer activities and the commercial development of the company’s products and services. The tasks involved include gathering and analysing market information, advising exporters and their customers, collaborating with banks and GIEK, marketing the export credit scheme and preparing and arranging loans. Export Credit Norway currently has two marketing departments, which respectively focus on the oil and gas and maritime sectors and renewable energy and other sectors.
