2017 looks set to be an extraordinary year shaped by new political constellations, economic uncertainty and technological innovation. How can the export industry adapt to new realities amid constant change? Who is succeeding, and why?
Export Credit Norway, GIEK, Innovation Norway and GIEK Kredittforsikring invite you to the Export Conference 2017, to be held on Tuesday 25 April at Oslo Opera House.
Ministry of Trade and Industry Monica Mæland will open the conference, which will begin with a panel discussion with the host organisations led by master of ceremonies Nadia Hasnaoui.
Frida Wallnor, political analyst and lead writer at the Swedish financial daily Dagens Industri will share her thoughts on the current economic climate and the way forward, while Kristin Skogen Lund, Director General of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), and E24 Editor Per Valebrokk will discuss current challenges and opportunities for Norwegian exporters.
Speakers including Salmar-CEO Trond Williksen and Gelato Group’s CEO Henrik Müller Hansen will then examine how successful businesses can be built in new industries.
The final part of the conference will focus on the impact of market changes on Norwegian exports, and feature input from business leaders who have successfully completed tough restructurings in exposed sectors.
The day will conclude with the presentation of the Export Award. Last year’s winner was StormGeo, one of the world’s largest commercial providers of weather services. Who will take home the award this year?
